Lumirank Metrics
What each number in a report means, how it is calculated, its range, and where the app shows it.
Rates and shares are fractions from 0 to 1, rounded to 4 decimals. The app multiplies them by 100 and shows them as percentages. When a rate has nothing to divide by, it is null, not 0. For example, share_of_voice is null in a group where no brand was ranked.
You can add up counts across rows, but not rates or averages. For a weekly number, ask for the week dimension. Do not average 7 day rows.
Visibility report: your brand
An answer mentions your brand when the brand is in the answer's ranked list, or when its name appears anywhere in the text.

visibility_index | 0-1 | Visibility that counts a high rank more than a low one. Each answer scores 1 / log2(1 + position): rank 1 scores 1.0, rank 3 scores 0.5, and rank 10 scores 0.29. A mention with no rank scores as if it were ranked just below the end of the list. The scores are added up and divided by answers. It is never higher than visibility. | Overview visibility index |

Brands report: you and your tracked competitors
The brands report covers your brand and every competitor with the status tracked. It counts every brand by the same rules.

visibility counts the answers that rank or name a brand. share_of_voice counts only the answers that rank it. The ranked column lets you check share_of_voice yourself from the rows. The visibility of your own row is the same as the visibility in the visibility report.
Citations report: the sources AI answers cite
The citations report has 1 row per cited domain. With the url dimension, it has 1 row per cited page.

The domain and url dimensions add the columns is_own_domain and domain_rating. domain_rating is the Ahrefs Domain Rating, from 0 to 100, or null until Lumirank has it. The url dimension also adds title, content_type, content_subtype, and platform.
